OK so I go home and everything, its a normal fall break. Then I’m on my way to pick up Katie and I notice a weird noise whenever I turn right. By the time we’re on our way back home its grinding whenever I put on my brakes. So I thought hey, I need to get this fixed. What had happened was that so much brake dust had built up on the back brakes that all the work was being done by the front ones, so they wore down. They had to cut the rotor because it had gotten so messed up, replaced all the front brakes, cleaned the back ones, and I needed an oil change anyway so I got that. So Katie and I are out driving around celebrating getting my car back, and then it starts making an even worse noise than it had before. I won’t go into the details of this sound, but it was bad. Took it back, and a brake pad hadn’t been tightened well enough, so they fixed it for free. So now it works. For now at least. *L*

The Jackleg community is now ready to go. I sent out an official LJ Community invitations for some people I think will be interested, but anyone is welcome to join. Be sure to check out the rules before you post.

I have found myself thinking “Damn, I don’t have that installed.” so much today.

I forgot to back up my favorites from Firebird. Again. I always forget my Internet Favorites.

New version of Firebird today, version 0.7. It just keeps getting better.

Katie and I were talking about the under and overrated bands tonight. I’m thinking I might post some of that as the first post for Jackleg.

Thanks again to Sema and the crew for Semagic. That helped so much in the conversion.

Anyway, I’m off for the night, so I’ll talk to you people later.

All is not as it was expected… all the posts show up fine in my journal view, but in other people’s friends views, it actually posted a few of them as if they were posted recently. It has the correct date on it, but its like it forgot to backdate itself… odd… anyway, its good enough for me

Keep in mind, if you go back and read them all, a lot of it is lame, and a lot of it was when I was in a severe emotional quandry, in case it seems like I’m psycho or something.
